ARUBA

See it with
someone who
actually knows it

Guided, private, and small-group

These are the places I know best — the ones I've been to enough times to tell you which side of the island to stay on, which month to avoid, and which hotel is worth the splurge. It's not a complete list. If somewhere you're dreaming about isn't here, ask anyway; I've got a network of trusted partners on six continents and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person to plan it.

How it works

Three ways
to see a place

Some travelers want a guide for one perfect morning and the rest of the week to themselves. Others want every day handled. Both are right — it just depends on how you like to travel. Here's the range.

Private guided
tours

Just your party, your pace, your interests. A food-focused day in Oaxaca. A full-day Vatican visit before the doors officially open. A driver-guide for a week in Tuscany who becomes the reason you go back.

Private costs more per person, and it's worth it more often than you'd think — especially for families, mobility considerations, or anyone tired of waiting on strangers. Available in most destinations, in English and often more.

Option one

Small-group
departures

Set dates, set itineraries, capped at sixteen travelers. All the logistics handled, all the guiding included, and a group small enough to fit in one restaurant without a reservation nightmare.

Best value in guided travel, and the easiest way to travel solo without traveling alone — roughly half of every departure books as singles. Book early. The good ones sell out nine to twelve months ahead.

option two

Day trips &
excursions

The single best day of an otherwise independent trip. A cooking class in Chiang Mai. A catamaran to a beach you can't drive to. Sunrise over Cappadocia. A wine day in the Douro with someone else driving.

Add these to any itinerary I plan, or book them on their own. Tickets, timing, and transfers confirmed in advance — so you're not negotiating on a sidewalk at eight in the morning.

option three

what's included

Every tour,
every time

01

A guide worth having

02

Skip-the-line access

Licensed, local, and vetted. Every operator I work with has been used by my clients or by me personally.

Timed entries and reserved tickets for the sites where the line is the whole problem.

03

Transport handled

Private vehicles, drivers, transfers, and timing. You never navigate a bus schedule in a language you don't read.

04

A real backup plan

Weather, strikes, closures, illness. When something moves, I move it — you don't lose the day.
